How do I download and use the AT&T Office@Hand telephone system?
This article describes how to download our new telephone system, AT&T Office@Hand.
What do I need to know?
- Store, DC, and IT leadership will receive an email invitation.
- The email includes steps to download this application.
- Additionally, refer to the process and training video below for more information.
- After 15 rings without an answer, incoming calls are directed to your voicemail.
- If a call needs to be redriected, use the appropriate transfer code:
- Tele Sales - 1002
- Guest Care - 1003
- OOM - 1008
What happens to our old telephone extensions?
- Your existing number will be forwarded to your new number as to not to further disrupt our guest's experience.
How can I download the new telephone system?
- Go to https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/office-at-hand/officeathand-app.
- Click the arrow beside Download for IT Admins and then select Download for Windows. IF you have a MAC, you can select the appropriate MAC option instead.
- Click Download. Your download begins.
- Once the download is complete, click the AT&T Office@Hand…exe download in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. The install process begins.
- When prompted, click Remove protection and open. The telephone system is now installed on your workstation. You are directed to the login screen.
How do I log into the new phone system?
- From the login screen, click Sign In.
- Refer to the SmartSheet you were provided to located your user information.
- Enter the assigned telephone number into the Email or Phone Number field.
- Click Next.
- Enter aiesolutions.22 into the Password field and then click Sign In. You're prompted to authenticate your request to login.
- Click By email to.… You will receive an email in your inbox with a six-digit passcode.
- Enter the six-digit passcode into the site. If entered correctly, you'll be granted access to the telephone application.
How do I update my user settings?
- Click the S1 icon at the top left-hand corner of your screen.
- Update your profile details to include your name, email address, and department.
- Select your Emergency response location settings.
- Click Update. Your initials now display in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
How do I dial a phone number?
- Click the Phone icon. The New Call screen displays.
- Using your mouse, do one of the following:
- Click the numbers on the dial pad, including area code.
- Place your cursor in the Enter a Name or Number field. Then, using your keyboard, search for a user or enter a telephone number.
- Click the green Call icon to start your call.
