Initiate an Online Claim with Eva

This article describes how to initiate a new claim with our Virtual Agent, Eva.
How do I initiate a claim via website?
- Based on where you made your purchase, access dufresne.ca or ashleyhomestore.ca.
- Click the Live Chat icon at the bottom right hand side of the screen.
- Click or select Service from the available options listed.
- Click or select Log a New Claim.
- Enter the 10-digit telephone number used at the point of purchase and then press Enter on your keyboard, or click the Arrow icon on your screen to continue.
- Click or select the required name to continue.
- You are then prompted to confirm your account information.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Yes if this information is correct.
- Click No if this information is incorrect.
- Enter your email address to start your claim.
- Continue following the prompts to initiate your claim.
Example of Product is off Warranty
- In this example, the item chosen is no longer covered by warranty.
- If you would still like to submit a claim, click or select ‘I would like to talk to an agent, for potential pay for service options’.
- If you do not want to continue with the claim, click End this claim.
